Kraig is a modern master craftsman. He not only managed to execute our very complex and technically challenging loft conversion with ease, but he also managed to finish it to the highest standard. He maintained constant communication with my husband and me throughout the project, and brought the project in on budget.

You can’t ask for much more really. We think of him every day when living in our home and appreciate all the hours of hard work and thought the Oldfield team put into the build.

Kraig and the team at Oldfield Construction recently completely a renovation of a 1930s house for us in London. The project included a loft conversion on top of the complete renovation of the existing house.

We were so pleased with the results and would completely recommend others to use Oldfield. The attention to detail was fantastic making for a brilliant quality of finish. As with all old houses there were a few unexpected jobs along the way and Kraig was brilliant at laying out the options of how to deal with them, how we could remove things from our budget to make sure that we didn’t overspend. We agreed a budget at the beginning of the job which was stuck to, however we requested some additional work along the way and Kraig was able to give us advice on best ways to complete what we wanted to achieve as well as give us accurate budgets for the additional work.

Although Oldfield weren’t the cheapest quote we received we felt confident that they offered real value for money and quality. No corners were cut and the end results speak for themselves. All in all we were really pleased to have chosen Oldfield and would certainly not hesitate in using them again.

Oldfield Construction have recently redecorated our house from top to bottom, inside and out, and carried out a number of minor repairs.

Successful conversion of offices into flats

The team from Oldfield Construction were originally recommended to me in the past when I needed some interior construction work completed. Working with Kraig and the team went really well from day 1, from the initial meeting to discuss options and agree best way forward, to the frequency and quality of the updates so I always knew how work was progressing and any issues well in advance. At the end of the job they left the site very clean and tidy, and the work was completed to a really high standard.

I would highly recommend. So much so, I have recently contacted them again to complete some more work for me, this time a mixture of interior and exterior work.

A wonderful, conscientious set of guys who made our house somewhere to be proud of. We were first time extenders who were clueless and needed to stay living in our property (over winter!). They were amazing! They kept the house spotless and ensured we were warm and insulated through the whole process.
